Tutored needy students in inner-city public schools in Newark, NJ. Responsibilities included the review of basic biology and other natural sciences, the creation of lesson plans, and private sessions with the children to introduce new materials and assist with schoolwork related to the sciences; provided weekly instruction to several children assigned specifically to myself throughout the duration of the school year. Developed skills in communicating with children and in relating real-world information in a way that it others can easily process and utilize it.

Researched, analyzed, and summarized information on political campaigns, campaign practices, and elections for my professor at the Rockefeller School.

Helped perform logistical tasks for a head professor at the University, including the preparation of course materials and the collection and grading of assignments. Taught classes when the professor was away and maintained regular office hours to assist students in the understanding of statistical mathematics and various economic theories.

Personally designed, introduced, and taught English language programs for over two hundred students in Polish, Lithuanian, and Russian high schools in Vilnius, none of which featured English classes prior to my arrival at the school; the creation of this program required the choosing of texts, the development of lesson plans for students of different abilities, and the designation of various tasks to other English-speaking teachers participating in the program. Developed teaching and organizational skills, as well as managerial skills.
