I am extremely personable and work well with students of all ages and backgrounds. I've taught English Language Learners at the kindergarten and upper grade levels, ESL classes to recent Korean immigrant families, the SAT and ACT to the most dedicated students who've gone off to Ivy League universities, and hundreds of reluctant and underserved high school students who need us most. I've taught a variety of English electives and have written curriculum for district use. Currently, I teach college and alternative high school and middle school students. I'm pursuing a PHD in Education and am also in the process of starting a curriculum-centered program with the hopes of standard use one day.

Alice was great! She gave me a practice test, identified my weaknesses, and helped me get a great score on the SAT! Now i'll be attending the school of my dreams next fall!!! Thanks Alice!
Alice tutored two of my children who are currently in high school. She worked so well individually with each of our kids and explained concepts to them that they had not understood while learning in class. Their grades in English have improved exponentially with her help!
Alice was my tutor and she's fantastic! I don't know what more to say! She worked with me on areas where I needed work and worked them at my pace. Overall, I had a great experience. I highly recommend her!
Alice is a wonderful tutor. She is friendly and patient, and always responds quickly to e-mails/phone calls. She helped my son with his 11th grade English class, and his grade improved from a C+ to an A! She also helped him significantly increase his SAT scores, and as a result, he was recently accepted into a top-tier university. I couldn't be more pleased...
When Alice started tutoring our daughter, her SAT score was in the high 1600s, and after weekly sessions with Alice, she just got over a 2100 - a HUGE improvement and directly attributable to Alice's excellent and personalized tutoring sessions. Alice is very professional, personable, punctual, and informed. She customized the tutoring to suit our daughters strengths and weaknesses and motivated her to spend extra time preparing for the test. We plan to use Alice's services again for our son. I highly recommend Alice, you won't be disappointed!
