Experience
I attended Howard University to earn my bachelor of business administration in computer information systems. I then went on to Concordia University for a masters degree in educational leadership. I have 15 years of experience as a math teacher at the high school level. Courses I've taught include trigonometry, geometry, algebra one and two, and preparation for the GED. I enjoy teaching and tutoring algebra the most because it's an important foundational subject for future math learning. I believe students need to develop a fundamental understanding of the core concepts so they can successfully build on their understanding in future coursework. When I have some free time, I enjoy going to the movies, watching plays, shopping, reading, traveling, trying out new restaurants, basketball, and bowling.
