Experience
My teaching experience is broad and varied. It includes working as a public school classroom teacher in NYC and as a summer camp instructor multiple times at Hofstra University, where I taught computer applications. I have also been a proctor and prep class instructor for the SAT, and I have provided supplemental education. Today, I am a chess instructor for kids in grades one through five. I love to learn and teach, and I believe it is important to have fun while doing it. I am a word fanatic and love to read, write, and play word games. I love major league baseball and have been a die-hard New York Mets fan for as long as I can remember. I also play softball, and I was selected into the Hall of Fame for my league. Personal fitness is important to me, as is the discovery of new knowledge. I enjoy a good pun or joke, and I like to hear new ones and share mine with anyone who will listen. I also consider myself a true fan of classic TV sitcoms and music from multiple genres. I am excited about the chance to work with your student to help them reach their academic goals.
