I am a 4th year medical student at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. Before medical school, I earned a BA in Anthropology at University of Michigan and MPH in epidemiology at Boston University. I truly enjoy teaching and working with students of all grade levels and abilities because I am patient, understanding, and I have experience helping students through the learning process. I have been a teaching assistant for college-level physiology, anatomy, public speaking, and organizational/study skills in the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program (SMDEP.) I taught group sessions, held office hours, and worked one-on-one with students. I have also done private tutoring in biostatistics and physiology as well as precept Mini Medical School during my time as a medical student. In addition to tutoring, I have helped many students navigate the path of medical school admission, if that is something they see as a goal for the future. I currently conduct student interviews for medical school admission and understand the qualities and attributes schools look for when evaluating med school candidates.
