As you can tell by my profile picture, I am goofy! I like to have a good time, I am a bit of a free spirit. I am open minded and non judgmental, I believe this is the biggest trait I posses that allows people to feel comfortable enough to open up to me. A bit about my past educational experiences; I never liked school as a kid, I thought I was stupid, I just didn't get it. I found out that it wasn't me that was the problem, nobody took the time out to help me learn in a way that was effective for me. We all have different ways to learn. During my time as a student I have studied many different learning styles and I am confident because of my history and past of hating school to my current love of academia that I can assist all types of people in a way that will help them, allowing my students to maximize their full learning potential. I have a deeper, personal understanding of educational barriers.
