I am a tutor who excels in French. I can work with students on their French language skills and also teach students about French culture. I'm also available to help students with the verbal and critical reading portions of the SAT. I pursued my love of literature and language and received my degree in French Literature at New York University. I believe that learning a new language can fundamentally change a person's human experience. I love to help my students gain access to new writings and materials that they previously couldn't read or understand. Learning a new language gives you access to a massive pool of new ideas, beliefs, and concepts. I believe that struggling as a student can actually be a good thing, because it requires you to become a better learner which helps you grow as a person. The time that a student spends trying to figure out a difficult concept is not a waste, it is a valuable part of their development. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy reading good books, watching episodes of Frasier, swimming, and going for runs. I'm also passionate about learning new languages. I try to find new, delicious ramen places whenever I get the chance.
