Experience
I'm a tutor who is currently based in New York City. When I'm not in the classroom working with my students I enjoy being with my animals, exploring the outdoors, and playing my ukulele. I have my bachelor's degree in wildlife conservation from Juniata College and I hope to continue pursuing a career in environmental education. As a tutor, I'm able to work with students in a variety of different subject areas. Some of the topics I've tutored before are reading, writing, Spanish, environmental science, and English as a second language. I consider myself to be a patient and organized tutor who is flexible enough to meet with my students at the time and place that works best for them. I am truly passionate about helping students succeed. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when I help one of my students finally reach a breakthrough moment in a class they've been struggling with. I begin my work with a student by identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and then taking those into account when I develop an individualized lesson plan for that student. I believe that anyone can master any subject with the right dedication and guidance. I hope I can provide the guidance you need to get the most out of your class.
